This is an upmarket 5-star resort based around the corner from the Mauricia hotel in Grand Baie. The resort is perched around the corner from the bay with stunning views of the beautiful blue ocean. You are greeted with this view as you enter the reception area and from there the heart melts! One of the highlights is the bar which looks out over the ocean in all directions making it ideal for those picture-perfect sun sets!

The rooms are big, spacious and beautifully decorated for those discerning travelers.

There is an A La Carte restaurant which is situated right on the beach and once again you are greeted with the refreshing sea air and views over the ocean in front of you. The beaches at the resort are perfect for couples wanting to relax and although all beaches in Mauritius are not private, due to the location, these beaches can almost be deemed as private as they have little to no interference from passersby.

One of the aspects that really stood out for us, which although small, was a special touch none the less. A umber of portraits have been taken of all the staff in black and white and put up around the hotel.It depicts them in and around the property having fun in their respective duties and this adds a pleasant familiarity to the property. Something else which caught our attention was the stunning and well-known wine cellar where one is served only the best and latest wines out on the market.

Our recommendation for this hotel is that it is ideally suited for an upmarket clientele looking for a property that is conveniently close to Grand Baie. This is a place for couples, honeymooners and anyone looking for an exclusiveretreat where they will be looked after like Gold. Should you be a repeat clientele, they will even take note of how you preferred the room and make sure it is exactly the same as when you left!
