This unique resort is characterized by the spa built into the Banyan tree based on the property as well as the historical remnants of the old colonial forts and cannons.

The rooms are great with refreshingly clean colours and a nice beach room type atmosphere. The USB charge points next to the bed are convenient. Food is great with a sea view restaurant called Le Navigator which offers couples and honeymooners the perfect setting to express their undying love to each other!

There are two small beaches that one can access however they are smallish and there can at times be a bit of coral in the sea sand. As long as you are not one of those searching for long white beaches than this is the place for you! The views however certainly make up for it as does the character of the resort, so it depends on your requirements.

Some of the other services that we enjoyed was the put-put course, various dive sites which are in close vicinity as well as the kids club which has been refurbished and offers tons of activities for the little ones.

We would recommend this hotel to families and couples looking for a good 4-star property with loads of activities, winding paths, wellness in a tree and conveniently close to Grand Bay.
