One of the most well-known properties on the island, this 5-star property looks and is magnificent. As you enter this resort you walk into paradise! It is beautifully laid out and we rate this hotel as having some of the best and most up to date facilities whether it be the kids club, gym equipment or the luxurious rooms that are probably some of the nicest on the island in this category.

The beachfront suites with a pool are incredible with their own private pool where you can sip champagne while enjoying the infamous sun sets that the west coast is so well known for. The beach is beautiful and long enough to explore on those early morning walks.

Another great aspect to this hotel is that it offers 6 restaurants with themes from Thai and Indian to Mediterranean and Italian.

It does have a very upmarket vibe about it so certainly for those discerning travelers and in our opinion more suited to couples but certainly an option for families given the variety of activities and facilities for kids.

One of Mauritius’s most well-known properties and for good reason! It is situated on the west coast of the islands, known for its beaches and famous sun sets! The resort, after having recently undergone a re-furb, looks absolutely magnificent!

The rooms are spacious, well designed and tastefully decorated. The Beachfront Suites with pool are incredible, so if the budget allows, these are probably some of the finest rooms you will find on the island. Whether you enjoy the sun sets from your own private plunge pool or on the beach, you will be absolutely mesmerized!

We rate the kids club and gym area as having some of the best facilities of any of the hotels on the island! There are a number of different restaurants such as Thai and Indian to choose from as well as the delicious buffets which are on offer each night! There are also themed evenings and the ones on the beach serve some of the most delicious sea food we have tasted!

The range of water sports will keep you fit and healthy and the snorkeling trips are not to be missed! The spa is tranquil and perfect for those looking to take some time out and get pampered!

Over all, this is a sophisticated 5-star hotel ideally suited for couples and honeymooners. Having said that given the range of facilities and services on offer for kids, there is no doubt this hotel will also appeal to families with both young and older kids.
